Twinning Project
The aim of the programme is to unite the Twinning Project, Sheffield United Community Foundation, and HMP Moorland to deliver a football-based course within the prison, leading to a Football Association qualification for three cohorts of 16 young people, with the aim of supporting the reduction of violence and crime, and the development of healthy attitudes, approaches, and lifestyles.
Firvale Community Hub
The Firvale Community Hub are aiming to use a Public Health Approach, working with families to address the underlying causes of violence and encourage reporting.
In2Change South Yorkshire
In2Change is focusing on young people aged 11-18, their families and carers. They are using early street-level intervention through their Streets Outreach programme to learn of local crime, anti-social behaviour, domestic abuse, and victim support needs.
Endeavour Training Ltd
The purpose of the project is to provide a range of activities and services that support young people and their families in the Burngreave area of Sheffield, to reduce the likelihood of violence.
Sheffield Wednesday FC Community Programme
Onside Mentoring is a youth mentoring service which aims to receive referrals from Sheffield Youth Justice Service, Sheffield Inclusion Centre, and local schools, and will run from July 2022-March 2023. Targeted diversionary activities will also be established in hotspot areas to increase the chances of behavioural change.
Barnsley Sexual Abuse and Rape Crisis Services (BSARCS)
The grant to BSARCS enables them to increase their capacity, employing an additional full-time equivalent Wellbeing Worker to ensure that children have to wait less than two months to access effective, timely support.
