Preventing Violence Forum

The South Yorkshire Violence Reduction Unit chairs a Preventing Violence Forum.

This brings together community and third sector organisations, both those which have received funding from the VRU, and those which haven’t. This provides an opportunity for the VRU to update organisations on the work it is doing, and for organisations to provide an update on their work. This builds the VRU’s relationships with organisations across the county, and builds links between the organisations themselves.

Meetings of the Preventing Violence Forum are held every four-to-six weeks.
