Purpose

The aim of the programme is to use early intervention to learn of local crime, anti-social behaviour, domestic abuse, and victim support needs, through a street-level community programme, ‘Streets Outreach’.

In2Change is focusing on young people aged 11-18, their families and carers. They are using early street-level intervention through their Streets Outreach programme to learn of local crime, anti-social behaviour, domestic abuse, and victim support needs.

Outcomes include:

  • Provide essential targeted support to prevent disengaged young people being involved in crime, violence and exploitation, delivered through intervention programmes
  • Develop wrap-around support working with families to identify certain behaviours of young people
  • Intelligence reports for benefit of In2Change and partners: statutory organisations, community cohesion with authorities
  • Create safer communities, lower crime rates, restore community trust in authority

The Family Works

The aim of this project is to increase capacity for trauma-informed support in schools and homes. This is an identified need of the children and young people in the families who access their organisation.
