Doncaster Children’s Services Trust
The focus of this initiative is to deliver a cutting edge education programme using Virtual Reality (VR) to address, educate, and tackle the growing violence that women and girls face in our society.
Game Changed Network
This initiative sees Game Changed Network work in partnership with Steel City Gym in Sheffield and their CIC, The Thunder Projects, to run a series of takeover sessions in schools to promote gender equality, to prevent and reduce Violence Against Women and Girls.
Sheffield Rape and Sexual Abuse Centre (SRASAC)
The aim of the programme is to ensure that the voices of survivors are incorporated in the design and development of SRASAC’s future community engagement work, by establishing a range of ways for clients to tell them how they can reduce the barriers they face in seeking support from SRASAC, and also raising awareness of sexual abuse and violence in the community.
Roshni Sheffield Asian Women’s Resource Centre
The aim of the programme is to support 45 Asian girls aged 10-14 from the Pakistani and Bangladeshi communities in Sheffield, in partnership with three schools, to build their confidence and self-esteem, and help them to build resilience to live lives free from violence and abuse.
Young Women’s Housing Project
The aim of this project is to address specific issues affecting vulnerable young women and girls, their relationships with peers and parents, and the associated risks of becoming victims and in some circumstances of becoming perpetrators.
KRS Education and Training Ltd
This project aims to promote gender equality and reduce Violence Against Women and Girls in the S20 area of Sheffield, covering Beighton and Mosborough.
Sheffield Women’s Aid/Adira
The aim of the programme is to provide specialist African-Caribbean counsellors within Sheffield Women's Aid services for African-Caribbean survivors of domestic abuse, recognising that women Sheffield Women's Aid support have a preference for receiving such support by women from their own culturally-appropriate communities.
Sheffield Women’s Aid
Sheffield Women's Aid will offer a dedicated children and young person practitioner to work with children and young people in their refuges, to offer them dedicated support in a space which is safe, and which gives them the opportunity to explore their feelings and behaviours in a safe way.
