Purpose

The aim of the programme is to break/minimise the cycle of abuse for children and young people living at the Sheffield Women’s Aid refuges through a dedicated children and young person practitioner.

Sheffield Women’s Aid will offer a dedicated children and young person practitioner to work with children and young people in their refuges, to offer them dedicated support in a space which is safe, and which gives them the opportunity to explore their feelings and behaviours in a safe way.

The purpose of this initiative is to break/minimise the cycle of abuse for children and young people living at Sheffield Women’s Aid refuges. The beneficiaries will be children and young people from the ages of 0-16.
