The Family Works

The aim of this project is to increase capacity for trauma-informed support in schools and homes. This is an identified need of the children and young people in the families who access their organisation.

Young Women’s Housing Project

The purpose of this initiative is to identify at risk women and girls aged 10-19, and deliver specialist support/interventions which address their relationships with peers, intimate partners, dependent children, and parents.

Grow

Grow Gardeners is a work-based learning programme for 16-24 year olds facing barriers to employment. Young people work with them part time for 16 weeks, and earn the real living wage.

Mums United

This project offers a safe space for young people, offering twice weekly workshops to a cohort of 125 females and 125 males, aged 14-25.

ReconnectEd

The ReconnectEd coaching programme is an early intervention initiative with the aim of increasing attendance and reducing exclusions from mainstream school for young people facing extreme adversity. They do this by providing a trauma-informed emotion coaching programme to address the root causes of exclusion, crime, and violence.

Sheffield Wednesday Community Programme (SWCP)

This project will be a scheme led by young people for young people, using the power of football to educate young men and empower young females.

Olympia Wellbeing Academy

This is a programme of intervention for young people involved in, or at risk of becoming involved in, criminal activities. They operate a gym called Olympia Fitness in Burngreave, one of the most diverse and economically deprived areas of Sheffield.

Sheffield Music School

This initiative aims to support communication and emotional regulation among care-experienced youth, and will target those involved in the justice system or at risk of becoming young people Not Involved in Employment, Education, or Training (NEETs).

Cricket Arena

The aim of their initiative, Empowering Youth through Sports and Education, is to engage with over 100 young people in holistic sports and youth clubs.
