Purpose
The Unity Gym project provided intensive support to nine young people to raise awareness about grooming, exploitation, violence and its consequences.

The Unity Gym Project with the help pf the funding delivered weekly activities to preventing the occurrence of violence by offering a range of holistic, supportive and diversionary activities in safe spaces including, daily open access health, wellbeing and fitness sessions and youth club, detach and outreach sessions, weekend diversionary sports activities, basketball sessions.
The project also delivered 14 detached youth work and outreach sessions during dark nights, school holidays and 4 themed workshops covering reflective discussion about young people’s behaviour, understanding risk, denigrate violence and its consequences, raising aspirations and overcoming obstacles, social media, realities of prison life. 33 young people attended the sessions.
