Purpose

To support those who currently work with local youth offending teams, to prevent reoffending. Individuals residing in households where there has been incidents of domestic abuse. Young women whose parents/mothers are or have been involved in criminal justice, and young women who have become socially isolated due to homelessness, leaving care or as a result of exclusion from mainstream education.

The Chances  intervention is aimed at young women and girls aged 14 to 19 years old in a gender specific environment.

The aim of this project is to prevent further trauma and educate young women and girls to stop the cycle of abuse that can lead to further trauma and harm. Support will be with those who work with local youth offending teams to prevent reoffending, those living in household where there has been incidents of domestic abuse, young women whose parents have been involved in the criminal justice and young women who have become socially isolated due to homelessness, leaving care or due to exclusion from main stream education.

The aim of this project is to increase capacity for trauma-informed support in schools and homes. This is an identified need of the children and young people in the families who access their organisation.

Young Women’s Housing Project

The purpose of this initiative is to identify at risk women and girls aged 10-19, and deliver specialist support/interventions which address their relationships with peers, intimate partners, dependent children, and parents.
