Purpose
The initiative will be targeted at marginalised young women and girls, vulnerable to teenage and early adulthood relationship abuse, aged 13-21 (up to 25 for those with Special Educational Needs), in a gender-specific, trauma-informed, safe environment.

The initiative will be targeted at marginalised young women and girls, vulnerable to teenage and early adulthood relationship abuse, aged 13-21 (up to 25 for those with Special Educational Needs), in a gender-specific, trauma-informed, safe environment.
They will support those who are:
- young women and girls who are leaving residential care and are supported by the Staying Close, Staying Connected project
- young women identified as being at risk of VAWG by Nacro Vocational College’s Manager and by Sheffield City College’s safeguarding officers
- young women and girls who have become socially isolated because of exclusion from mainstream education/attending alternative education provision, some of whom present with Special Educational Needs
- young women and girls identified as being at risk of sexual and/or criminal exploitation by the Sheffield Child Exploitation Service (The Amber Project)
- young women and girls who have become marginalised due to poverty
- young women who are experiencing problems with drugs and alcohol
- young women whose parents/carers/guardians have been involved in criminal justice

The aim of this project is to increase capacity for trauma-informed support in schools and homes. This is an identified need of the children and young people in the families who access their organisation.
Young Women’s Housing Project
The purpose of this initiative is to identify at risk women and girls aged 10-19, and deliver specialist support/interventions which address their relationships with peers, intimate partners, dependent children, and parents.
