The aim of the programme is to create new pathways into sports development and fitness careers for 80 young women.

Titans Community Foundation is the sports foundation attached to Rotherham TItans RUFC, which works to support young people in the community towards better health and fitness.

This project aims to create new pathways into sports development and fitness careers for 80 young women who are inspired to achieve new goals. They are employing a team of coaches (male and female) together with semi-professional rugby players based at the club to set up a sports engagement and training course, which runs from mid-August 2022 to the end of March 2023.

They are delivering three sessions of two hours each week. Each session comprises a mix of rugby and/or rugby-related fitness, with regular careers support and guidance, and the opportunity to undertake work experience in a variety of roles within the club.
