The aim of the programme is to ensure that the voices of survivors are incorporated in the design and development of SRASAC’s future community engagement work, by establishing a range of ways for clients to tell them how they can reduce the barriers they face in seeking support from SRASAC, and also raising awareness of sexual abuse and violence in the community.

SRASAC recognises that some people face additional barriers in seeking support, and so this work focuses on addressing the needs of those women and girls.

The work will initially lead to service development work and the production of a range of resources, printed and online, which address the needs identified through the user involvement work, and also inform SRASAC in its ambition to employ a community engagement worker in the future.
