The aim of the programme is to use this funding to create a designated post within the RNN Group, to focus on reducing Violence Against Women and Girls by changing the culture and raising awareness among young people in Rotherham.

The aim of the programme is to use this funding to create a designated post within the RNN Group, to focus on reducing Violence Against Women and Girls by changing the culture and raising awareness among young people in Rotherham.
The postholder will:
- work with stakeholders to create an action plan to review and improve college practices and procedures around reducing Violence Against Women and Girls, including working with the community
- develop training to raise awareness of Violence Against Women and Girls, its impact on society, and what the College are doing to counteract this negative/harmful behaviour
- introducing trauma-informed practices to the RNN Group through raising awareness of the wide impact of trauma, to prevent re-traumatisation through interventions
