Purpose

The project wanted to strengthen resilience and change attitudes towards violence.

The Reach South Sheffield project wanted to strengthen resilience and change attitudes towards violence by engaging with young people across the Gleadless Valley and South Sheffield and work with communities and service providers to create positive relationships through participation in environmental, diversionary and physical activities and community social action.

 

Related community projects

Club Doncaster Foundation

To design and create an exciting and innovative space to be used to deliver workshops such as Teen Gym and DJ Workshops, as well as providing them with a safe space to socialise and access services.

Israac Somali Community Association

To provide a starting point for longer term engagement with the Diaspora Multimedia Hub and with Israac which has ample potential for projects with young people into the future, in addition to providing wellbeing sessions for parents to share challenges and solutions.
