To help motivate and enthuse young people and their families to help keep them active and to keep their dreams alive during very worrying and uncertain times during the COVID-19 pandemic. This will also provide an alternative to going young people out on the streets.
This project helped to improve the physical & mental wellbeing of those who attended both the venue & the online sessions safely.
Sports coaching and online webinar sessions took place for young people and their families.
The project helped young people remain positive & keep active therefore providing an alternative to going out on the streets & hanging around in groups. With the online sessions, families had the opportunity to spend time together on activities which they were able to enjoy together, enabling them to ease out family tensions which is especially helpful during the stressful times throughout the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic.
