Purpose
To provide social packs to vulnerable children in Doncaster, to reduce stress on families to entertain their children.
Quick summary
Activity packs were distributed to children and young people in Doncaster to ensure they can still participate in social activities that can be done from home.
By providing children with fun activities to do in their home and garden, they are being encouraged to play and socialise in a safe environment as opposed to hanging around the streets causing mischief and crime. All children that received these activity packs were vulnerable due to the COVID-19 pandemic, as they face uncertain times within their households and at school.
148 individual children aged 0-18 across Doncaster have been supported by these packs.
