50 search mitts were purchased to provide door staff working within Doncaster’s Night Time Economy with a way of conducting ultra-fast body scans for metal objects, with no need for bodily contact.

Using the mitts is a quick, easy and non-intrusive way to scan in busy or noisy environments such as license premises door queues.

Almond Boxing Academy

The violence reduction fund has helped Almond Boxing Club to buy appliances for new kitchen to allow provision of diet and nutrition course and to buy equipment for the gym for a new cardio vascular area. The club has also been able to support 19 young people who have been excluded from school and/or involved in criminal activity were with the funding.
