The focus of this initiative is to deliver a cutting edge education programme using Virtual Reality (VR) to address, educate, and tackle the growing violence that women and girls face in our society.
The initiative will use the medium of VR to:
- Engage young people in an immersive 360 degree experience that will expose a range of issues to secure a better understanding of the issue and to secure behaviour change. It is vital that girls and young women feel protected and confident, both inside and outside of school or college
- The VAWG VR Programme will also be utilised as a training tool for all professionals working with young men and young women to better understand the complexity and challenges faced by young people
