Dinnington Community Boxing is a boxing organisation dedicated to improving mental health and fitness in the communities of Rotherham and surrounding areas, through their tailored boxing and fitness sessions.
They aim to improve the lives of young people who are being left behind, those who are not given any opportunities, and those who feel excluded from their communities, through the sport of boxing, in a safe environment with a qualified coach.
The project aims to support young people through “Talk & Train”-style sessions, where the boxing club offer free boxing and fitness, as well as building support networks and self-confidence with links to professional counsellors and organisations.
