Centrepoint currently supports 66 homeless young people in Barnsley. Many have had poor experiences in learning and work, and lack confidence and motivation. The majority are not in education, training, or employment, and need to find a way back into learning and earning.
This project aims to support homeless young people in Barnsley to focus on education and employment, steering them away from negative and damaging influences, and providing tailored support to rebuild their confidence and raise their aspirations about learning and work. It aims to help them to explore and secure local education, training, and employment opportunities.
