Allama Iqbal Cricket Club was set up to meet the grassroots need of engaging young children into a purposeful activity which would provide an alternative to and take them away from anti-social behaviour and criminality.

The purpose of this initiative to enhance and promote their offering to the local community of Netheredge, Sharrow, and Highfield.

Their aim is to engage wider stakeholders, open up opportunities to more children, and work with families to support their children positively and develop more productive relationships.
