To help vulnerable children and adults in the surrounding area.
Quick summary
The funding enabled the organisation to purchase more football goals and kits for children to be able to space out and play football safely. Also, sanitiser, signage and barriers were purchased and implemented at venues to comply with the new COVID rules.
The organisation helps vulnerable children and adults in the surrounding area as they recognise the area they support is deprived, with lots of single parent families.
They have had lots of children referred to them through word of mouth due to their community focused, friendly approach, that includes children of all ages and genders.

The Family Works
The aim of this project is to increase capacity for trauma-informed support in schools and homes. This is an identified need of the children and young people in the families who access their organisation.
