The South Yorkshire Violence Reduction Unit (VRU) recently supported an Easter event in Rotherham.
Held at the Kiveton Park and Wales Village Hall on the Thursday before Easter, the event brought together a number of organisations to put on a fair for the local community, with stalls, crafts and family activities.
During the day, the VRU spoke to visitors about the Unit, the initiatives it supports, and its work with local organisations and communities.
Graham Jones, Head of the South Yorkshire Violence Reduction Unit said: “I’m pleased that the Violence Reduction Unit was able to support this event in Rotherham, chatting to people about the work we are doing to prevent and reduce violence across South Yorkshire.
“Events such as this are a great way to bring the community together, something we have all missed during the restrictions we have faced over the last two years.”
