Domestic Abuse Campaign Pack For Partners
Information For Partners
The South Yorkshire Violence Reduction Unit are launching a domestic abuse campaign that will run from Friday, 14 May 2021 to Friday, 23 July 2021.
The aim of the campaign is to encourage anyone experiencing domestic abuse to ask for help and support.
The campaign has been produced in partnership with the domestic abuse leads in the four local authorities, Barnsley Metropolitan Borough Council, Doncaster Metropolitan Borough Council, Rotherham Metropolitan Borough Council and Sheffield City Council, along with the support of South Yorkshire Police.
Eight animations have been produced that tell the real life experiences of domestic abuse from people living in South Yorkshire. Their stories have been narrated by South Yorkshire volunteers.
The call to action on all of the campaign assets is to South Yorkshire domestic abuse services. The telephone numbers are all available as well as the 24-hour domestic abuse helpline and the 101 and 999 numbers for South Yorkshire Police.
Campaign Assets
Posters, leaflets, z-cards and calling cards have all been produced in the English and Urdu language as we especially want to encourage those who do not speak English as a first language to access support.
