We have produced some videos to be used by anyone wanting to know more about our work.

The following 31 minute video was produced to be used for the Police Constable Degree Apprentice or Degree (PCDA) course. It explains all about the South Yorkshire Violence Reduction Unit, The Public Health Approach and Trauma Informed Approach.

Neurodiversity and the Criminal Justice System – an understanding will be gained on neurodiversity within the criminal justice system and what South Yorkshire Police are doing to support individuals who are neurodiverse with conditions such as autism, dyspraxia, dyslexia, ADHD and more.

Public Health Approach training – this video for continued professional development and provides an understanding of the Public Health Approach.

Trauma Informed Practice in Policing – this video talks through understanding a trauma informed approach and implementing it into policing by imbedding it into health and wellbeing at work. All of this contributes to the work being done to prevent and reduce violence.
