The South Yorkshire Violence Reduction Unit has awarded funding to organisations to work on new projects aimed at preventing domestic abuse in South Yorkshire.

Haven
Haven is delivering a whole school approach programme aimed at primary schools across Sheffield to challenge the existing 'Bystander' culture that exists in schools and society to raise awareness of healthy, cohesive and positive relationships. In addition helping children make positive choices and informing them on where they can seek help and support.
In2Change
In2Change will offer a course to young people who already attend, to partake in alternative education, all of whom are already involved in or at high risk of violent behaviour.
Sheffield Womens Aid
To break the cycle of abuse for children living at the refuge and offer intense family support.
Together Women
A targeted intervention aimed at marginalised young women and girls aged between 14 and 19 that have been exposed to different forms of trauma, in a gender specific environment.
YWCA Yorkshire
Two programmes providing targeted interventions aimed at supporting women who are experiencing or vulnerable to domestic or teenage relationship abuse.
De Hood
To prepare young men and boys in the community to become positive role models who have a clear understanding of domestic abuse and the negative impact this has on individuals, their families and the wider community.
